of a company our size personally stands behind the delivery of support.
For Store Build It!, we've followed
the same principles.
We offer this special price for one very important
reason -- SiteSell does not provide support, help or
consultation for Store Build It!. An excellent "how-to"
1-2-3 Action Guide leads you confidently through the
store-building process and, if necessary, ShopSite
professionals are available to assist you.
We would have had to double the price of the ShopSite
software in order to cover additional support staff, along
with the cost of extensive ShopSite training for all of our
support team (even though only a minority of SBIers will use
ShopSite or need specialized support).

This section is potentially the fastest of the next three levels. We
cover the most common issues here. Scan it quickly (below) before
proceeding to the next level (if necessary). You just may save
yourself a whole bunch of time if you find the answer to
common situations here.
Below are a few of the most commonly asked Store Build It! ("StBI!") questions. Please check and see if your question is answered before
proceeding to the next levels.

| FOR StBI! PRE-OWNERS

Since pre-owners will "wander" into this section, we'll start by answering their questions first...
Should I begin with Starter level? How do I know which level of Store Build It! is right
for me?
We recommend that you begin with the Starter version of the Store Build It! software...
1) It's the easiest and cheapest way to validate the hard goods monetization model for your business -- yes, even if you are planning to sell hundreds of SKUs. Use StBI! Starter to test your market by offering 10-15 of your most popular products and gauge the response accordingly.
2) It is the simplest version of the software to master. The 1-2-3 Action Guide provides instructions on how to build a Starter level store, and you can/should use it even if you own Pro -- it's a great way
to learn your way around the software. Please note, the guide does not address the more powerful and complex features of Manager or Pro.
3) You can always upgrade to a more powerful version of StBI! at any time, once your store is flourishing and/or should you
need more advanced features. The only additional cost is the
difference -- in other words, there's no "financial penalty" to moving up to Pro in 2, or even 3, steps.
Can I sell e-goods with my Store Build It! store?
The ability to sell e-goods is offered in the Pro version of the software.
However, for most businesses, using the Pro version of StBI!
to sell e-goods is overkill, unless you are also selling hard goods. So...

Can the same ShopSite software be used for more than one SBI! site, or do you have to buy one software licence for each SBI! site?
Your StBI! license is good for one domain only. If you want to run a store on each of several domains, you will need to purchase a new license for each domain.
Does StBI! include affiliate tracking software?
The Pro version of Store Build It! includes an affiliate program, plus it is compatible with several of the larger third-party affiliate programs and networks (i.e., Commission Junction, etc.).
What is the refund policy on Store Build It!?
The software is fully refundable during the first 30 days of ownership. Since Store Build It! is software that you own after purchasing, and since it is fully transferrable to another hosting service, there is no refund available on the software after 30 days.
There is, however, a pro-rata refund on hosting, same as Site Build It!'s. In other words, if you order StBI! for a year, and cancel after 6 months, you'll be entitled to a refund on 6 months of your hosting costs.

I've misplaced my copies of the 1-2-3 Action Guide
and Make Your Store Sell!. How can I get new copies?
Login to Site Central, and download new versions from the Site Build It! Download Center.
I can't login to my Store Build It! store from Site Central. What's wrong?
Empty your browser's cache (if you do not know how to do that, look up "cache" in your browser's online Help).
Then shut down your computer. Restart it and log into Site Central. Then click on the
Manage Store button. You should be able to get into the store.
If not, this is "technical support" -- please contact SiteSell's Support Team.
For technical issues such as this, SiteSell Support is the appropriate resource.
I'm having trouble building my store. I can't get it to do what I want it to do. What should I do?
We have automated as much of the setup of your store as possible.
And clear, step-by-step instructions on how to build your store are included in the 1-2-3 Action Guide.
However, although we've made it as simple as possible, it still requires some effort.
If you are having problems, despite following the 1-2-3 Action Guide,

How much do Store Build It! upgrades cost?
Store Build It! upgrades simply cost the difference between what you
paid for your current level, and the price of the level that you want. Here are the levels...

- Store Build It! Manager: $299 one-time purchase fee + $99 annual hosting fee

Bottom line?
Setting up a top-quality store is not as easy as setting
up a Site Build It! site. However, by comparison, it's
